It’s hard to believe that we are already in the month of April.
March was a fun filled month of learning! The children enjoyed a fantastic visit from the Pandemonium Reptile rescue program. Thank you so much for generous donations. Needless to say they were thrilled to see and touch all the creatures. Fascinating snakes, turtles, and lizards were wonderful to learn about.
April has been a busy time for learning so far. We are learning about Spring with the parts of the seed and how it becomes a plant. The children have prepared green bean seeds to sprout and are looking forward to gardening outside.
We will be having lessons on how to respect the Earth by learnings about recycling and composing. We will also learn about worms and how precious they are for the garden.
Our studies of Africa will continue. We welcome any input from parents and relatives who may have traveled there to share any knowledge or artifacts with us.
