Where a love of learning grows.

Preschool Newsletter, June 2017

May was a busy month!

The classrooms worked hard on their auction projects and were very proud of their work. We hope you enjoyed the auction. The Cedar room planted acorns and got to see them sprout into saplings. They grew so quickly and the students loved seeing the root structure. When they were ready, the children helped transplant the saplings to larger containers. Each primary classroom now has their own oak tree sapling!

The weather has been trying to get her warm for us and we have plenty of fun enjoying the weather. On that note, please make sure your child is appropriately prepared for the weather. Hats are great, layers for changing temperatures, and sunscreen. If you would like us to apply it to your child, please get a form from the office.
The month ended with the annual trip to Harvey’s Beach. Unfortunately we didn’t see the sun, but we saw many interesting creatures that inhabit the tidal pools of Long Island Sound.
We are looking forward to the end of year celebration. The children have been practicing their songs (it’s a surprise!) and we hope to see everyone there on Wednesday at 3:30!
