The Children’s Tree Montessori School holds summer programs focusing on animals around the world

Old Saybrook, Connecticut – The Children’s Tree Montessori School, 96 Essex Road, Old Saybrook, will hold 7 weekly summer programs for ages 3-8 focusing on each continent’s wildlife and habitats.

Starting the week of June 18 we will focus our studies on a different continent each week, exploring the unique animals and habitats of each. Activities will include art, cooking authentic recipes from each culture, games, outdoor playtime, and more. 

Programs run Monday – Thursday, either for a full day from 8:30am-3:30pm or half day from 8:30am-11:30am.
June 18-21: North America
June 25-28: South America
July 9-12: Asia
July 16-19: Europe
July 23-26: Africa
July 30-August 2: Australia
August 6-9: Antarctica

The Children’s Tree is a non-profit school founded in 1995 to provide an alternative to traditional preschool programs, expanding to offer an elementary school in 2001, and a toddler community in 2014. Children do not need to be enrolled as students during the regular school year to participate in summer programs.
