Dear Parents,

November went by so quickly in Primary! We are finally feeling the cold weather side of fall. This month was filled with leaf study, leaf play, gratitude, and learning.

Thank you to those who have come in to read with the children for Lucky Listener! The children really value and enjoy the opportunity to read a book together. There is a sign-up sheet in the entryway for those who are interested in helping.

For Stone Soup preparation, all of the children brought in ingredients, and they all helped prepare the vegetables — scrubbing, peeling, cutting, and chopping. What a wonderful day we had with grandparents and special guests, eating the delicious food the children prepared.
Now we are back from Thanksgiving break and heading into the crunch time before winter break. As we go into the winter, we will continue to go outside whenever possible, as long as the “feels like” temperature is at least 20°. Please help your children bring weather-appropriate clothes and shoes, and label, label, label! As more clothing items come in, it gets harder to keep track of what belongs to whom.
Coming up is our Winter Celebration, which the children have already begun preparing for, learning songs on the theme of love. Please plan to join us on December 19th at 1pm at the American Legion; it’s always a wonderful time!
Happy Holidays,
Miss Pam, Miss Meredith, Miss Bethany and Miss Sandra
