science fair-9-2Greetings Toddler families!
We are heading in to our final month of the year! Our Earth Week activities were an excellent way to start Spring off with the toddlers. In the month of May, we will continue to learn about what being “alive” means. We will focus on weather and the power of the sun through science and art projects.

We are beginning to explore different genres of music from around the world, and will continue to learn about music and musicians during May. We will be experiencing classical, reggae, folk, Ghanaian, and Indian music.

At this time of the year, children are confident and comfortable in the classroom and with one another, so we are able to do many more group cooking and science projects. If your child has a recipe they love to make at home, feel free to be in touch and we can make it in class together!

A note about sunscreen: sunscreen is considered a medicine and therefore needs to get registered in the office. We will be spending more time outside as the weather warms, and need a medicine form to apply it for each child.

You are all invited to join us for our Harvey Beach field trip in Old Saybrook! You are welcome to meet us on Friday 5/22 from 9:30-11:30 (rain date: 5/26 12:30-2:30).

Thank you for your continued participation and support!
