UPDATE: As of February 25, 2019 we have raised: $14,006 with 74% participation. Help us reach our goal of $50,000 and 100% participation by March 6, 2019.
The Children’s Tree Montessori School was founded in 1995 by Head of School, Marci Martindale. Over the past 23 years, CTMS has expanded to provide quality education for ages 12 months to 12 years old, and a warm and loving community to over 500 families.
The Golden Beads are used in Montessori classrooms worldwide to teach children to count by ten and is an introduction material to the decimal system. One bead equals one unit; a row of ten beads equals 10; ten rows of 10 becomes a 100 square; ten one-hundred squares becomes a 1,000 cube.
As a non-profit, the school relies on your generous donations to grow programs and maintain existing ones, while keeping tuition costs reasonable. The school needs your support to meet the Golden Bead Challenge this year!
Last year, CTMS had 85% participation from the community and 100% participation from teachers and staff. We hope this year we can boast 100% donor participation! All donations will help us achieve 100%!
Thank you for helping us achieve our goal of $50,000 in 100 days with 100% participation. Please share with family, friends and colleagues to help us meet this goal.
100 Days: November 27, 2018 – March 6, 2019
100% Participation: A determining factor in receiving grants from outside the school’s community, is the participation from within the community. All donations will be recognized and will help us achieve this goal.
$50,000: Funds this year will help support
• Continuing education for staff at the AMS 2019 conference: $10,000
• Enrichment classes for students: $30,000
• Natural Playground: $10,000
The Children’s Tree Montessori School is a Non-profit 501(c)3.
